Joseph Bridgeman Books 2 and 3

The Shadows of London
An interesting follow-up to the first book in this series. Appropriately this book shifts in how it is written, which threw me off at the beginning because they didn't seem to fit together. However, as the plot unfolded it was more and more clear why the direction of this series pivoted in the way it did in book 2 to set up the subsequent books. I liked how the workings of time travel are starting to be better explained and the set up for how this will look for Joe, the main character, going forward should he choose to continue time travelling.
The Observer Effect Thank you Netgalley and Blackstone Publishing for the gifted third book! I sure hope this isn't the last book in the series! The first book introduced the characters and part of the concept. The second pivoted to make sure this could be a series, and in this third book the story really hits its stride as we get more of a character arc for Joe and so many more pieces to the puzzle that this series will unfold to be. I really liked the new characters introduced in this book and the morality questions really pondered by them as they consider the power of time travel and their actions in it to change things.
