My husband is a huge fan of this Andy Carpenter series, so I decided to finally check these books out. Quickly I knew why my husband likes them. Andy is a smart mouth character full of dad joke type humor and a direct type of insight. He sticks his foot in his mouth but does it so charmingly that he gets away with it. This is a courtroom murder mystery book that clips along at a great place with great humor. If you want a procedural type series to sink your teeth into, this is a great option.
