Wow. What a story! This book could have been heavy handed with lots of commentary on political issues and full of complaints, but instead it is a memoir that has you turning the pages like it is fiction. Virginia writes with such grace for her circumstance while not dwelling or grazing over them. She has lived an incredible life of faith and opened my eyes to what the people of Romania lived through under the communist regime. This book has bolstered my faith and helped give me a better perspective on my own life.
