How do you define summer reading?
For me, I mostly read what I read the rest of the year, but there are pockets of summer when I want books that are more page turners. I love the feeling of flying through a book in one sitting in the summer especially. It throws me back to road trips as a kid when I would finish stacks of books.
Yesterday I went to a friend's pool just to read. My husband and friend were reading too. I read 25% of my book, drank my large Sonic Coke with vanilla, and gave all the pets to my puppy friend Luna. It was a good afternoon.
