This was the first book we chose for my IRL book club. And it was an excellent choice for a novel that is worth discussing. From the character's choices to the historical context, there is much to talk about. I overall enjoyed the book. Not my favorite Fiona Davis, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. And of course discussing with friends was a bonus. And the reveal at the end was very shocking to me. I in no way saw it coming.
